Although numbers were down slightly, there was plenty of entertainment, together with food and produce stalls and activities to keep the young children occupied.
Daniela Canas was thrilled to be able to build a pyramid of mugs and balance them for one minute to take out a prize at one stall.
Others couldn’t resist the beautiful donuts that were very popular, with the cooks working hard to keep up with orders.
The principal, teachers, staff, parents, students and others who assisted to make the event a huge success are to be congratulated for all their hard work.

Brad Good was one of the many Finley Apex Club members who worked so hard and tirelessly to make the recent rodeo such a success.
This is just one of the number of activities this great group does for the benefit of the community.
Brad could be seen tending his smoker (self-made) in preparation for the VIP area that evening.

One could have been forgiven for wondering why the Finley Lions Club food van was parked in front of the Finley Bakery last Saturday morning.
There were extensive renovations going on in the building, and the Lions Club provided the food van so Micka Littlejohn could still cater to the needs of his customers while Darren from Flooring Xtra laid a new floor and All About Bakery installed new equipment in the front shop.
Finley Lions Club once again came to the rescue!
