Campaspe Shire Council has announced a series of free grant-writing information sessions across the region in March to support recovery.
In partnership with Equipment Solutions Plus, the council’s flood recovery team will teach attendees the essentials of successful grant-seeking and management.
Four sessions, limited to 20 people, will be offered, with spots open to everyone at the following locations:
- Echuca ― Echuca Workers on Monday, March 2 from 6pm to 8pm.
- Kyabram ― Kyabram Community Learning Centre on Tuesday, March 3 from 6pm to 8pm.
- Rochester ― Rochester Uniting Church on Wednesday, March 11 from 6pm to 8pm.
- Echuca ― Campaspe Shire Council function room on Thursday, March 12 from 6pm to 8pm.
Mayor Daniel Mackrell said the workshops were also about offering community members skills about bringing ideas and projects to life.
“Armed with the knowledge of how to access funding, they’re better able to actively shape the future of their communities,” he said.
