The Jerilderie Fun Fair is back and organisers are promising the biggest and brightest celebration yet.
Set against the picturesque backdrop of Monash Park Oval, this much-loved twilight event has quickly cemented its place as one of the Riverina’s must-see annual gatherings.
Now in its fourth year, the fair continues to grow, drawing families, day-trippers and holiday-makers from across the region.
Gates open at 4pm, with affordability remaining at the heart of the event.
Entry is just $10 for adults, $5 for aged pensioners, and children enter free.
But here’s the real crowd-pleaser: once inside, all rides are completely free.
It’s the kind of value that makes parents smile and kids cheer.
This year’s line-up offers plenty of reasons to arrive early and stay late.
There will be treats aplenty.
Thanks to generous community sponsors, thrill-seekers can hop aboard the ever-popular Cha Cha - part of an impressive suite of attractions designed to delight both the brave and the not-so-brave.
Local favourite Shane McGrath will take to the stage from 5pm, providing the perfect soundtrack as the sun dips.
Jumping castles, an inflatable soccer arena, animal encounters, face painting, food vans, showbags, craft stalls, and even a licensed bar for the grown-ups will keep everyone entertained.
One of last year’s standout highlights, the Twilight Cinema, returns to transform the oval into a magical open-air movie experience, inviting families to spread out picnic rugs and enjoy a film together under the stars.
And making its much-anticipated Jerilderie debut? Chicken races.
These quirky, fast-feathered contests are tipped to be the surprise hit of the evening, with the first race kicking off at 5pm.
Expect plenty of laughter, cheering and perhaps a little friendly rivalry from the sidelines.
The popular twilight movies will return.
A wander through the bustling market stalls will be a treat in itself.
Visitors can browse handcrafted goods, sweet treats, jewellery, toys, wooden crafts and garden décor, alongside a delicious array of food trucks and homemade delights.
For those searching for the perfect weekend outing, one that delivers memories without the hefty price tag, the Jerilderie Fun Fair is calling.
Pack a picnic rug, bring your sense of adventure and join the community this Saturday from 4pm at Monash Park Oval.
