About 180 men gathered for the 11th annual Kyabram Men’s Longest Lunch, which took place on Friday, February 27 at Parkland Golf Club.

Doctors Chris McWilliam and Alice Yu from Kyabram Regional Clinic delivered an engaging presentation about men’s health, emphasising the importance of regular health check-ups and maintaining an active lifestyle.
A highlight of the lunch was the presentation by guest speaker Andrew Rule, who captivated the audience as he shared stories about his life and distinguished career in journalism and discussed his first book, Cuckoo.
The crowd was also entertained by comedian Brett Blake, who brought an energetic atmosphere to the event.
The afternoon included a two-course meal, along with a raffle and a successful sold-out auction featuring items donated by local businesses.
The event’s proceeds are expected to support new equipment and services at Kyabram District Health Service.
