Allan St was a bustling hub on Friday, November 7 as businesses and organisations reaped the rewards of setting up shop outside for the day.
Local businesses offered discounts ranging from 10 to 50 per cent, creating fantastic value for everyone who explored the street.
AJs Shoes attracted steady streams of customers, while Intersport Bennetts created quite a buzz with their impressive range of discounted items.
The Sherridan Country Women's Association's delicious baked goods proved irresistible, with stocks nearly depleted by lunchtime as RV Country Music Festival visitors eagerly sought out these homemade treasures.
CWA secretary Doreen Napier said the market was great for the town's economy, especially coinciding with the RV Country Music Festival, which brings upwards of 200 recreational vehicles filled with visitors to the Kyabram Showgrounds.
“It pays dividends to have (the market) every year... you really notice the increase in people,” Mrs Napier said.
“It’s just amazing.”
On the opposite end of the street was Kyabram Pizza and Pasta selling delicious Italian dishes outside in heated serving trays.
Behind the stall were mother-daughter duo Laura Campanelli and Laura Attardi who both said they were delighted to see more people than last year.
Kyabram P-12 College students filled the street with music from 11am to 2pm, first with the primary school choir, singing songs they had practised throughout the year, and second with the school rock band.
While parents explored the market stalls, children were thoroughly entertained with face painting, bouncing on the jumping castle, or meeting friendly reptiles at the Tiny Tails display.
