Spring cleaning was on most minds when it came to the Kyabram Gift Garage Sale last weekend, with Allan St home owner Sarah Coote among the many participants.
“I was going to have a garage sale, but when I saw it advertised I thought I would get involved,” Ms Coote said.
“It has been a pretty good day, people have been in and out all day.”
Among the many items for sale, timely to say the least with lakes in the region now full, was an assortment of water ski gear and life jackets.
There was also the obligatory books and exercise equipment on offer.
Kyabram Gift’s annual general meeting was staged in October.
The group recently received a $26,000 donation from the Independent Associated Seed Graders organisation.
Keiran Brooks, convenor of the group’s AGM and charity auction, selected Kyabram Gift as the recipient of the annual donation.
Andrew Moore, acting Kyabram Gift chair, attended the group’s AGM and the gift group was also represented at the charity auction.
