The latest of those events, an Australia Day ceremony last week, saw the eight member committee host a barbecue and flag raising ceremony — attended by Campaspe Shire councillors and community members.
Late last year there were 90 people at the hall for the Christmas barbecue and a history group was held in the building in October.
The future of the hall was in doubt last year, but is now operated by the management committee — which is committed to ensuring the future of the facility as a central point for its community.
Flying the flag: Graeme James and John Taylor celebrate the national day at the Wyuna Hall on Thursday evening.
Community minded: Long-time Wyuna residents Betty Wheeler and Gwen James were involved in the community barbecue and flag raising ceremony, which attracted a large crowd to the historic hall.
Native flora: Not much is more Australian than a jam jar filled with Billy Buttons, sitting alongside an Aussie flag. Enjoying the Wyuna event on Thursday were Ann Ralph, Kath Owen and Jan Popple.
