The Greens’ Zoe Cook, the Nationals’ Brett Hosking and One Nation’s Garner Smith will face the proverbial music, answering questions submitted by community members to the organising Kyabram Development Committee.
Labor’s Christine Grundy and the Victorian Socialists’ Asyiqin Sanif have been invited but are yet to confirm their attendance.
The committee’s secretary, Renne Pichler, said with the increased interest in this election, it was important for the community to have an opportunity to know more about the candidates and make the most informed choice possible.
“It will be a relaxed casual atmosphere and give people a chance to meet the candidates,” she said.
She thanked the Parkland Golf Course for providing the space for the forum, saying light refreshments would be provided with drinks available at the bar.
The event will take place on Tuesday, November 10 from 6pm onwards.
