Rural Aid will be on the ground, helping farmers who where left devastated by the recording-breaking floods, from Sunday September 7 until Saturday September 13.
The charity is urging individuals, community groups, and businesses to sign up and be a part of the week.
Volunteers don’t need any specific skills or experience.
They’ll help fix fences, restore damaged infrastructure, clear debris, maintain gardens and offer companionship to farmers.
Farm Recovery coordinator Dave Thiele said the event was one of the best ways someone could make a direct impact in disaster recovery.
“Volunteers are the heartbeat of these events,” Mr Thiele said.
“They bring energy, compassion, and practical support to farmers who’ve been doing it tough.
“Our volunteers often tell us the time spent sitting on the veranda having a cuppa with a farmer is just as important as the physical work.”
Volunteer Neville Leclere, who helped at the recovery event in Coraki said how much the experience meant to him.
“It was fantastic working alongside the farmers; the community really welcomed us and loved having us there,” Neville said.
“Getting together for dinner each night made it a really good social event, and I’ll definitely be back for sure.”
