Learning, confidence and friendship blossoms

Foundation teacher Lizzy Dorian said the theme for the celebrations on August 14 was ‘100 days brighter’, celebrating the students’ success since starting school.

“They've learned so many new skills, so they’re ‘100 days brighter’ and that’s why we are celebrating all dressed in bright colours to recognise that,” she said.

“They've all come such a long way since day one, so much more confident in the classroom and developed many beautiful friendships.”

Ms Dorian said the students started off the day by making special ‘100 day brighter’ crowns that they all got to wear to assembly, followed by decorating biscuits and other fun activities.

“They've all had a great year,” she said.

“It really is amazing to see the difference between the start of the year and what they can do now ― it really shows what 100 days of learning can achieve in that time.”
