Liberals select Butkowski for Farrer race

“I’m humbled to be preselected, but know there’s a lot of hard work ahead,” she said.

“The Farrer by-election is about choosing a new representative, who can get things done for this community — now and into the future.”

Aside from her role in council, she is also a senior community lawyer at the Hume Riverina Community Legal Service and a Murray Darling Association board member.

She has also worked as a lab technician at a pathology service and as a tennis coach.

Ms Butkowski has degrees in law, biomedical science and nutrition and is studying a master of business administration.

She also holds a graduate certificate in conflict management and resolution.
