Services resume as usual on Friday, December 19.
The following changes to opening hours are between Wednesday, December 24, and Monday, January 5.
Service centres and libraries
Echuca, Kyabram and Rochester service centres and libraries will close at 3pm on December 24. Echuca service centre and Rochester and Kyabram service centres and libraries will reopen on Monday, January 5, at 8.30am. Echuca library will reopen on January 5 at 10am.
Rushworth and Tonlala service centres and libraries will close at 4.30pm on December 23, reopening on January 5 at 8.30am.
Online library services and after-hours return chutes will remain available.
Council services
Campaspe Animal Services will close at 3pm on December 24, and be closed on Christmas Day. Open via appointment, 10am to noon, December 26 to January 4. Phone 5480 3005. Resuming normal operating hours (via appointment) on January 5.
On-call ranger services operate throughout the holiday period for emergencies only. For urgent requests, call 1300 666 535 and follow the prompts.
Echuca War Memorial Aquatic Centre and outdoor swimming pools will be closed Christmas Day.
Maternal and child health service operates for first home visits and essential appointments only. An online booking form is available on council’s website, or phone the MCH booking line on 1300 644 964 for appointment options.
Campaspe Community Children’s Centre will close at 5.45pm on Tuesday, December 23, reopening January 7,
Rochester Early Learning closes 6pm on December 23, and reopens January 7.
The volunteer-based community transport finishes December 18, reopening January 20. Trips will start again on Wednesday, January 21.
Service requests lodged during council’s office closure period will be attended to upon reopening of the council offices.
Resource recovery centres are closed Christmas Day, Boxing Day and New Year’s Day.
Kerbside bin collections
Kerbside waste collection dates will change as follows during Christmas week, with collections to commence from 5am:
If your usual collection day is December 25, collection will be December 26. If your collection day is December 26, it will be December 27. Collections will return to normal on Monday, December 29.
