Campaspe Shire Council will host another youth pool party on Friday, January 23 at the Rushworth pool from 1pm to 4pm.
The free event is designed for young people aged 12-17 and will feature pool games, music and activities in a welcoming environment for teens to connect with friends.
Every attendee will receive free entry plus a complimentary ice-cream, drink and sausage sizzle.
Campaspe Shire Mayor Daniel Mackrell encouraged local youth to participate.
“We're really happy to offer this event once again — helping teens stay cool and connect in a safe environment is more important than ever in regional communities like Rushworth,” he said.
The event will be held on Taungurung Country and will be fully supervised by trained youth workers and qualified lifeguards.
The event provides a safe, supervised environment and is drug, alcohol, vape and smoke-free, proudly supported by Amplify, a Victorian Government initiative.
Parents and caregivers are encouraged to accompany younger attendees. Those wishing to purchase additional snacks from the canteen should bring cash.
Attendees can register for a free pool season pass online or on the day, providing access to all Campaspe outdoor pools throughout summer.
