It was a special occasion, as Marjie’s daughter Tina had travelled from Ireland, joining her older sister Kylie, to organise a back-yard lunchtime party for their mother.
Friends travelled from Western Australia, and former school friends of Kylie and Tina came to visit, and help with preparations for the 23 guests.
Celebrations were ongoing, as Marjie later travelled to Sydney and Harrington Waters.
During this visit Marjie enjoyed dinner with her sister Jo-Ann who was unable to make the trip to Jerilderie.
Marjie thanks everyone for the happy memories.

Around 15 parishioners of St Joseph’s Catholic Church, Jerilderie gathered on Friday night at the Jerilderie Sports Club restaurant for a shared meal to farewell Fr Paul Lu.
Fr Paul is leaving the parishes of Jerilderie, Finley and Tocumwal for an appointment to Hanwood, Yoogali and Yenda parishes.
Father Paul has only been ministering to Jerilderie parishioners for six months, and his transfer came as a bit of a shock.
We wish him well in his new appointment.
