2022 looks like being a big year in real estate for Kyabram, with work commencing on several new estates. For realtor Brendan McConnell the difficulty in operating during 2021 will hopefully be long forgotten.
What another crazy year living in COVID-19 times in normal life and in the real estate profession.

We have survived lockdowns and had a whole new vocabulary added to our daily real estate conversations. We have had to get used to QR codes, masks, social distancing, hand sanitizer, double vaccination, the green tick, capped numbers on inspections. This became the new normal while still trying to list and sell real estate.
With many experienced economists and property experts predicting doom and gloom for real estate once COVID-19 hit, this couldn’t be further from the truth. We have seen a strong rise in the medium sale and rent prices across Kyabram and district. Demand for all types of properties has never been stronger, with some outstanding sale prices achieved.
For the 2022 outlook, I believe we are in a strong position going forward with a large amount of residential land becoming available in Kyabram and Tongala. Several new estates offering blocks from 700m2 up to 2654m2 are giving all types of buyers a choice in size and price.
We are still getting strong inquiries from Melbourne buyers looking for the tree change, with Kyabram and district being a very attractive destination.
McConnell First National and staff would like to wish all their very loyal clients a merry Christmas and a prosperous 2022.
