From Tuesday, April 21 demolition on the Harry Bird toilets at Victoria Lake Park, Shepparton is set to begin, to pave the way for the renewal of the existing block under the public toilet replacement program.
The upgrade will include three accessible toilet cubicles, including showers, to improve accessibility and ensure compliance with current standards.
Construction of the new facility will commence shortly after demolition has been completed.
Greater Shepparton City Council hopes this modernised facility will provide a more inclusive, comfortable and user-friendly experience for all visitors.
During the works, portable toilets will be available for use close to the existing block, with temporary fencing in place.
Residents are urged to take care around the construction area.
The replacement works are expected to take approximately eight weeks, weather permitting.
