Kindergarten and Year 1 students were the first to take centre stage, heading to the Deniliquin Pool for a hands‑on introduction to water safety.
The session focused on essential pool rules, safe behaviour around water and building confidence through guided games and activities.
Staff said the day was an important part of early‑years learning, helping students understand how to stay safe in and around the water.
The school thanked the parent helpers who assisted throughout the morning, noting their support contributed to a smooth and enjoyable experience for all.
Older school students also enjoyed some time in the pool as part of the school swimming carnival. Results and photos will appear in PT Sport in coming editions.
