Tickets can be picked up from the Green Thumbs Nursery in Girgarre from 9.30am, with the gardens open half an hour later.
Five gardens will be open to the public for interaction and viewing at the festival.
This includes the Green Thumbs Nursery, Community Cottage Garden, the Bonshaw Estate, Jan Smith’s garden and Pat Graham Wakefield’s garden in Blamey Rd.
Bonshaw Estate will also offer a complimentary high tea from 2pm, with an array of artists and musicians performing on the day.
There will also be an artist painting and a floral art demonstration based on making bouquets for weddings.
Bonshaw Estate owner Burnie Ryan says it’s a relaxing afternoon to enjoy the gardens, music and art that is on display.
Jan Smith’s garden has a country farm feel about it as you wonder across the lawns, which are edged with tall trees and are under planted with different textures of plants.
Pat Graham Wakefield’s garden, which is on Blamey Rd, is quite extensive with a large canopy of gum trees, under planted with raised garden beds filled with native cacti, a lily-pond and relics of old machinery.
There will be garden art on display and from 1:30pm a Rushworth Concert Band will be playing.
Half of the profits will go to the Girgarre community cottage with the other half going to the Friends of Gargarro.
