An important early morning flower market trip meant there were plenty of fresh daffodils for sale, along with artificial versions to last year-round.
Mrs Quinlan, supported by Kasey Templeton and Talicia White, ran a lolly jar-guessing competition and a raffle with locally donated prizes to raise important funds.
There was no shortage of yellow treats to enjoy at the morning tea.

An array of yellow-themed treats were also for sale, as promised, washed down with tea and coffee from Mackay St neighbour The Cafe Rochester.
At the end of the event, The Wheelie Florist raised $1147 for Cancer Council.
Kerry, Brooke and Hugo Sinclair supported the fundraiser.
