The day welcomed several new faces to the club, with riders enjoying the opportunity to build confidence, develop new skills and connect with fellow horse enthusiasts in a supportive environment.
The positive atmosphere and enthusiasm shown throughout the day has everyone looking forward to the club's next event.
A highlight of the day was the show jumping session led by Danielle Moroney, who generously volunteered her time, knowledge and expertise.
Danielle's passion for coaching was evident as she helped riders of all levels improve their confidence, technique and understanding of show jumping.
The club extends a sincere thank you to everyone who volunteered, donated raffle prizes and supported the day.
Community support is invaluable and plays a significant role in helping the club continue to grow and provide opportunities for local riders.
Congratulations to the raffle winners: 1st (load of wood) Eliza Spry, 2nd ($100 fuel voucher) Laura Bulloch, 3rd ($50 Tim's Meat voucher) Pauline Witham.
The Coleambally Riding Club is now looking ahead to the upcoming Danielle Moroney Clinic Series, with clinics scheduled for August 23 (pole work), September 20 (jumping) and October 18 (course jumping).
The clinics are open to riders of varying abilities, with groups tailored to experience levels. Bookings are essential via colyridingclub@gmail.com.

Coleambally families are finding friendship, support and plenty of fun at the Coleambally Playgroup, which continues to grow as a welcoming hub for parents, carers and children aged newborn to five.
Each month offers a mix of activities designed to bring the village together.
On the first Tuesday, members enjoy a free coffee day, with parents encouraged to stop in at the Coffee Nest before heading to playgroup, a small gesture that has quickly become a favourite ritual.
The last Tuesday brings one of the group’s most cherished traditions: the Intergenerational Playgroup at Cypress View Lodge.
These sessions see Coleambally’s youngest residents sharing stories, smiles and play with the community’s eldest, creating moments that are as heart warming as they are memorable.
Selected sessions also feature visits from Kylie the Doula, who provides guidance and support for parents and carers while everyone shares morning tea.
Her presence adds an extra layer of reassurance for new families navigating early childhood.
Every other week, the playgroup focuses on its core mission: play, create, connect.
Children explore crafts, activities and imaginative play while adults build friendships and strengthen ties across the village.
The emphasis is on providing a safe, inclusive and inviting space where families feel supported.
New families are always welcome, and organisers say the playgroup’s success comes from its simple purpose: supporting local families through play, connection and community at the Masonic Hall from 10am.
