Anglers reported plenty of cod movement over the event, with a mix of just about any lure doing the damage for those willing to put in the early starts.
The weekend saw 116 legal sized Murray Cod caught, once again proving the efforts of the fishing challenge to restock the river have been very beneficial.
With just 10 legal sized yellowbelly caught, the new goal is to boost these numbers, with an order of 30,000 fingerlings already being placed.
If the post‑Challenge chatter is anything to go by, there are still plenty of fish out there waiting to be found.
