On Wednesday, November 19, the Community Bank Kyabram announced $18,249 in community investment funding for six local groups during its Community Investment Showcase at the Kyabram Plaza Theatre.
The event celebrated inspiring community-driven projects that are creating meaningful change and bringing people together across the region.
The funding recipients included Kyabram Blue Light Program ($3000), Kyabram Pony Club ($5000), All Breeds Society Spring Dairy Youth Show ($2500), KCLC – 8 Minutes Stage 1 Development ($2500), Goulburn Murray Community Leadership ($4250), and Kyabram Fellowship ($999).
Each project was carefully selected for its potential to deliver lasting impact in vital areas, including youth engagement, regional leadership development, education initiatives, community wellbeing and strengthening local connections.

Dedicated volunteer director and emcee Alicia Cunningham hosted the event, with local customer Filipa Marshall joining the official proceedings as a representative voice for community members.
Branch manager Mel Roberts emphasised the importance of local support.
“Without customers like Filipa, we simply couldn't do this. Every dollar reinvested comes from local people choosing our branch,” she said.
Ms Roberts proudly noted that the bank had now contributed more than $400,000 back to the local community over the years.
Community engagement lead Nattalie Joinbee said it was “a privilege” to fund the community group’s efforts.
“These groups are the real doers, and we get to back them ... and watch their projects come to life,” she said.
