Fashions judging took place between the action on the track.
While some incorporated a winter-style wardrobe into their complete outfit, others ditched the heavy jackets to brave the ‘catwalk’ stage before the judges.
The 17 and under girls section was a family affair with Lexi Bucholtz claiming first prize and her younger sister placing second.
Lexi took home a $150 voucher from Deniliquin Showcase Jewellers for her efforts, while Millie was awarded a $50 voucher from Barber & Threadz.
In the boys’ 17 and under category, Landon Daggett was the winner and received a $150 voucher from Deni Clothing Co.
Harvey Campbell performed well for the judges as runner-up against some older contestants and received a $50 voucher from Barber & Threadz.
Next to be given their chance to impress were the men.
With Deni Clothing Co vouchers valued at $300 and $150, and slabs of beer up for grabs, the Gentleman of the Day section was hotly contested.
Ultimately, the judges decided that Terry Dowling should get first prize, and Jarryd Lowry was declared runner-up.
Both choosing blue/navy tones and straw hats, Terry’s choice of beige pants and a light-coloured patterned tie edged him in front.
But Terry says he could not take all the credit for his outfit, admitting to being dressed by his partner.
Lady of the Day was Elizabeth Patterson from Griffith, who wowed in a hand-crafted headpiece and a uniquely structured dress, and bright orange heels and round clutch matching the colour of her fascinator.
She won a $300 Deniliquin Showcase Jewellers voucher.
Runner-up was Deni’s own Monique Gordon, with an equally impressive headpiece and dress in colours perfectly curated for autumn.
She received a $150 voucher from Deniliquin Showcase Jewellers.
Both ladies were also given bouquets of flowers and a bottle of wine each for their efforts.
