Trucks to affect traffic in Shepparton

The removal of flood-damaged cabins from Victoria Lake Holiday Park will cause changes to the flow of traffic in Shepparton over the coming weeks.

Access to some parking on Tom Collins Dve — opposite Aquamoves — will be restricted from Monday, as trucks carrying the damaged cabins move through the city.

The north-bound lane opposite the Aquamoves entrance will be impacted, with no parking available on the east side (right side) of the lane.

The south-bound lane should not be affected; however, drivers of large vehicles may be asked to park in the off-road car parks around the area.

Fencing will separate the cabin works from the nearby shared spaces at the south end of Victoria Park Lake.

Once the trucks leave the holiday park they will move along Tom Collins Dve and turn into Welsford St then right into High St and exit Shepparton via Benalla Rd.

The removal of the cabins is expected to take two to three weeks.
