Aspiring business owners are invited to attend a free Starting a Small Business Workshop at the Greater Shepparton Business Centre on Tuesday, March 17 from 6pm to 9pm.
The workshop will help people understand what's involved in starting a business while providing practical guidance to get them under way.
Delivered as part of council's ongoing commitment to supporting new and emerging businesses.
The workshop is open to anyone considering starting a business and is also suitable for those wanting a refresher.
City of Greater Shepparton Mayor Shane Sali said the workshop responds to strong local interest in entrepreneurship.
“The Business Festival showed us how many locals are ready to turn their ideas into real businesses,” he said.
“This workshop is about keeping that momentum going and giving people the support and confidence to start.
“If you have an idea and want to know the next steps, this workshop gives you practical guidance.”
The event is supported by Business Victoria and Monarch Institute.
