Across Campaspe, seniors and their families are invited to enjoy a month of free and low-cost events ranging from music and dance to workshops, talks and social gatherings.
These events are designed to celebrate the contributions of older community members, encourage lifelong learning, and foster meaningful connections.
Victorian Minister for Ageing Ingrid Stitt encouraged seniors to get involved.
“With support from the Victorian Government, this year’s Seniors Festival will feature more than 3000 events – from Celebration Day at Federation Square on October 5 to the Victorian Senior of the Year Awards on October 22,” she said.
“We encourage all Victorians to get involved in this year’s Seniors Festival – check the online calendar on the government website or pick up a program guide at your local Coles or post office.
“The Victorian Government is proud to deliver the annual Seniors Festival – a month-long celebration of the remarkable contributions older Victorians make to our state.”
