Woman charged with murder following Shepparton death

Police said the charge follows an incident on Heysen Ave, Shepparton around 1.15 am on June 2.

A 49-year-old Shepparton man was taken to hospital with life-threatening injuries but subsequently died.

The parties involved are believed to be known to each other.

Ms Atkinson did not apply for bail and has been remanded in custody to face Shepparton Magistrates' Court on September 21 for a committal mention.
