Investigations are under way following a crash at the intersection of Everard and Curr Rds in Kyabram on Sunday, January 11.
Kyabram police Acting Sergeant Russell Locke said emergency services responded to the crash about 2.15pm, which involved a white Mazda ute and a Subaru Forester.
The driver of the white ute, a Kyabram man, 33, was able to get out of his vehicle with “only minor abrasions”, according to Sgt Locke.
The driver of the Subaru, a Mt Beauty woman, 78, was trapped inside the vehicle and needed to be extracted by CFA and SES members.
Sgt Locke said the woman was airlifted to Prince Alfred with non-life-threatening injuries.
Police are investigating the cause of the collision.
