Maguire confirmed the Broncos would be 1-17 for the grand-final qualifier against Penrith at Suncorp Stadium on Sunday.
He refuted suggestions it was "a gamble" to insert Ezra Mam, Adam Reynolds and Xavier Willison back into the side from injury with the trio not having played for at least seven weeks.
When Maguire arrived at the Broncos in November last year he said he was in a rush to taste success.
After round 13 they were in 11th and that quest appeared forlorn. With 11 wins from their last 13 matches, including the last five on the trot, the Broncos are now on the cusp of their second grand final in three years.
Maguire was bullish when asked if he thought the side, that missed finals last year, would be as successful in his first year in charge.
"It's our opportunity to show that. I felt coming to a club like this, definitely," he said.
"You don't know timelines. Did I believe in the players I was coming to coach? Well and truly.
"The experiences those players have had give you those thoughts I guess. That's the reasons we are in a rush. It is a great club, the Broncos.
"I keep saying there is so much more in this team. That's the exciting part of where we are in this journey. We are all in a rush because everyone wants to win a comp. We are no different."
Five-eighth Mam, who will come off the bench, and captain and No.7 Reynolds have not played since round 23 due to hamstring injuries. Bench prop Willison broke his right forearm the previous week. All are back but Maguire has no doubts it is the right call.
"It's no gamble for me. I know the players intimately and I know their game inside out," Maguire said.
"I've had some great experiences with our seven and I know what he's capable of. His leadership out there is going to be excellent.
"I remember when he first came up here, everyone praised him about how he was helping develop the team. That's time with these guys.
"We've got big Xavier coming back in, too. His growth this year has been excellent. To be able to have a player like him come back in, with (suspended) Patty Carrigan obviously on the sidelines this week, is pretty special."
Maguire said Mam, who scored a hat-trick of tries in the 2023 grand final against the Panthers, had proven his fitness and would use his X-factor when the sting had gone out of the game.
"We will inject him at the right time when we feel it's needed. To have Ez there and know his capabilities," Maguire said.
"I know the boys enjoy having him back in the team."
Five-eighth Ben Hunt and star fullback Reece Walsh have combined brilliantly the past five weeks while Hunt was stepping in for Reynolds.
Maguire said it was a myth that the Reynolds-Walsh liaison would not be as effective.
"A lot of outside noise," he quipped.
"My memories are of Reyno and Reece doing some really good things over a long period of time. The noise is one thing and that's part of the game but Reyno knows what he can do with Reece and with Hunty.
"They have had plenty of experience working together and they have trained really well this week and last week, so the combination is definitely there."
