COROWA CIVIC BOWLS CLUB
On Saturday B2 played in the preliminary final against YMGCR at Rutherglen.
Play started at 10.00am due to the high heat forecast for the afternoon.
It was a very tense game, with the score being very even for the most part.
Both Janet and Lance’s rinks had finished playing with the scores being in front, but Peter’s rink still had 3 ends to play and were down by quite a lot.
The rink picked up 5 shots on the 2nd last end, YMGCR were unable to get the required shots on the last end and Civic came away with a 6 shot win.
A very tense game.

Michele had a bye in the 1st Round, and her opponent in the 2nd round was unable to attend the game, so Michele proceeded to the 3rd round to play Anne Corcoran from Yackandandah.
This game was very intense, with the lead see sawing between the two.
The heavy rain set in and both ladies and their marker were saturated before the game, which was called off with the score at 18-18.
The game will continue next Sunday, with the first person reaching 25 being the winner, we wish you all the best Michele.
