Tuesday Mar 31 Nineteen players played Triples and Fours
Winners Alan Jones, Terry Shields, Anne Summerill and Paul Hicky.
Runners Up, Rhonda Clark, Greg Keyte and Peter Mills.
Nixon Handicap 2025-26 Men's Singles
Winner Ken Widdison and runner up was Alan Holmquest.
This year's win made it Kens fifth 100up win in this event.
Saturday Open Jackpot Pairs
Jackpot Pairs will commence on Saturday 11th April.
Dress Mufti, names down by Midday and play commences at 1pm.
Enter as a Pair or a Single and the Match Committee will allocate a partner.
Memberships are now due, all Members who join before the Annual General Meeting will receive a full new uniform.
The new look uniforms sponsored by Club Corowa were approved at the recent General Meeting of Members.
Corowa RSL Bowls Club Annual General Meeting Trophy Presentations will be held at 10.30am in Ms Birdies function room.
Corowa Civic Bowls Club
Corowa Civic held a very successful Easter Tournament held over the three days of Easter.
On Saturday three greens were filled with bowlers playing Open Pairs, two greens were filled on both Good Friday and Easter Sunday with triples being played.
The weather was just delightful, beautiful sunny days with no wind. The greens were in superb condition thanks to our greenkeeper Andy.
Col Hendren and the match committee did a great job organising the event, as did the Bar staff and the kitchen staff organising the food for lunch etc. The results are as follows:

Congratulations to Michael Dickins being in the winning teams on both Saturday and Sunday.
A good turnout of bowlers played social on Wednesday – winners were – Michele Shields and Brian Shipcott. Runners Up – Paul Hickey, Kevin Bowler and Peter King.
Social bowls will now commence at 12.30pm on both Wednesday and Saturday. Please have your name down on board at the back gate or phone the club on 0456 188 056 by 11.30am.
The Edinburgh Shield will be played at Civic on Saturday 11 th and Sunday 12 th April.
Our next big event will be the Ladies Fours Tournament over two days on Wednesday 6 th and Thursday 7 th May.

Corowa Indoor Carpet Bowls
The Triples Final held on Sunday morning ended up a draw, but with the kitty off with the last bowl, it ended with a 20 to 16 win for Sylvia Williamson, Angela Clapton, and Greg Williamson.
Sunday afternoon social saw a tie up for the top two teams on (31), but winning on count back was the team of Helen Bartel, Gwen Mills, and Betty Clancy.
With the runners-up being Peter Manning, Gloria McCluskey, and Glenda Willett.
Tuesday's winners on 16 and 17 (31) were Ian Day, Tony Coppolino, Joe Carnivale, and Kerry Whalley.
With the runners-up on 4 and 17 (21) Being Greg Williamson, Helen Bartel, and Gloria McCluskey.
Thursday’s winners were Betty Clancy, Gloria McCluskey, and Graham Withers getting the victory over Gwen Mills, Ian Day, and Angela Clapton on count back, with both teams scoring 18 and 18 (35).
