Tongala should return to the winning list in the Murray Football League on Saturday when it tackles wooden spooner Barooga at Barooga.

But Tongala skipper Kyle Fitzgerald said his side should not be complacent as Barooga would see it as game it could score its first win for the season.

‘‘If we play up to our best, or near it, we will win, but we can’t take anything for granted,’’ Fitzgerald said.

‘‘A Congupna player told me after our game two weeks ago he thought we were the third best side in the league, although we were well beaten.”

Top end fly-in player Cam Ilett is expected to take his place in the Tongala side and possibly Matt Daniels will return, but utility star Sam Cipriana is likely to miss again.

Tongala’s engine room led by Fitzgerald, Bailey Waasdorp, Jordan Souter and Jack Hammond, will be the key again to the Blues’ fortunes, and if they are on song, should lead their side to its fourth win of the season.
