Raffa competition
Kyabram Bocce Club’s monthly raffa competition had players from Tatura, Shepparton and Cobram, plus our local Kyabram players.
All teams were picked by a random draw.
Three games of 10 ends were played.
The championship was supported by Griffiths Goodall Insurance Brokers of Shepparton.
First prize was picked up by the all-girl team of local champion Maria Greco and Tatura’s Angiolina Borrelli, a combination that has picked up many awards at both local, state and national competitions, and the only team to win all three games.
Runners-up were bocce club president Pat D’Aulerio and Tatura’s Tony Casuscelli, after a countback from Rosa Russo and Joe Greco.
The next monthly competition will be held on Sunday, December 10, at 1pm.
Any player wishing to take part must phone G. Greco on 0419 157 605.
Non-members are welcomed.
Good match: Maria Greco, Angiolina Borrelli, Pat D’Aulerio and Tony Casuscelli.
