Two heroes from Kyabram’s under-16 premiership-winning team featured at last week’s V/Line Cup in Moe.

Archie Sheppard and Billy Isaac played in the competition, which brings the best under-15 players in AFL Victoria’s country regions together for a three-day carnival.
Six teams form the 10 regions, with both Bombers playing for the Bendigo Pioneers in division two.
Sheppard stood out in the Pioneers’ first game against the Murray Bushrangers, kicking a goal and making the best players.
Bendigo won the match-up by five points before falling to Gippsland Power in its second game.
Sheppard was recently named the under-16s’ most improved player at their presentation night.
The utility kicked five goals in 11 games in the Goulburn Murray Junior League, and also played interleague in June.
Meanwhile, Isaac only played once, against the Bushrangers.
Isaac played once at the V/Line Cup.
The midfielder starred in the premiership team, being named in the best nine times from 15 games.
Like Sheppard, he also played interleague and won an accolade on presentation night, the most determined award.
