Early last week, the Bombers announced they did not have the numbers to field an A-grade team for round one, but last minute talks with the league saw Kyabram get a side on the court to give Rochester a game at Kyabram Recreation Reserve.

The match that resulted was a one-sided affair, Rochy clinical in its first hit-out of the season, 87-22.
The Tigers allowed only three goals in the opening period, running up 24 to set the tone for the afternoon, and the lead would surpass 40 by half-time.

Kyabram started to warm into its processes after the main break.
After putting on only five goals in the first two periods, the Bombers added 17 more after the break.
Kyabram thanked its fill-in players on social media for helping the club put together sides in all senior netball grades.
Kyabram will next head on the road to face Shepparton Swans on Saturday.
