Both the teams have been impacted by injuries to the A-grade combination during the season, with pressure applied to their home-and-away competition as players have had to play in other grades.
In B-grade, the Bombers’ girls will tackle Mooroopna, which finished with only one more win for the season. Kyabram finished the season in fifth with 12 wins and six defeats.
It has, by far, had the least amount of goals scored against it this season.
The teams have only played once this season and Kyabram won that contest 46-41.
In round 15 the team only lost to second ranked Echuca by three goals, having beaten the team earlier in the season. It has won its last three games leading into the finals and has a strong record against the other five teams involved in the finals.
In round 14 the Bombers lost by just four goals to top of the ladder Seymour.
The B-grade team is: Matilda Lockyer goal shooter; Sara Kent goal attack; Molly Carver wing attack; Steph Wild centre; Larissa Sherman wing defence; Rachel McCormack goal defence; Jasmin Reid goal keeper; Interchange Courtney Mason, Isla Carver, Tash Dodos.
Club coach Sara Kent said the team finally has full strength and there was a lot of confidence in the group.
She and McCormack are both very experienced GVL netballers and offer support to their less mature teammates
– A 12-win season for B-reserve has earned it an elimination final berth, also at Tatura on Saturday, against fourth ranked Shepparton Swans.
It is a replay of the final home-and-away round, which was won 41-28 by Kyabram.
Earlier in the season the Swans were a five-goal winner in the match between the teams.
