Hosting the Demons at Kyabram Recreation Reserve, the Bombers were looking to get their third win of the home-and-away season against a side still in the mix for finals.
While Kyabram put up a fight, scoring 30 goals across the four quarters, it wasn’t enough to stop Shepparton United, which poured on 54 goals to sink the second-last-placed Bombers.
Isla Carver was once again named best-on-ground for the Bombers, making it her third nod for the season.
The win propels the Demons into the sixth and last finals spot with three rounds remaining in the home-and-away season.
With a finals berth out of the question, Kyabram’s aim will be to tally at least one more win for the season and continue developing its young players in the top flight.
The Bombers will have good opportunities to get another win in the books to close out the season. They will face facing Mansfield in round 16, a side with the same season record (2-13).
They will then come up against finals battler Echuca in round 17 before finishing off their campaign against eighth-placed Shepparton Swans.
