In the 15-and-under count after 12 rounds, Maggie Guinan had a commanding lead with 36 votes, with next best Mia Kilpatrick trailing with 27 votes.
Guinan, however, didn’t poll any votes until the final round of the season, grabbing four at the death, and was leapfrogged by a consistent Kilpatrick, who polled maximum votes in three of the last six rounds.
Kilpatrick took the medal along with the Player’s Player award, with 44 and 31 votes, respectively, while Guinan was runner-up on 40 best-and-fairest votes.
It was a one-horse race in the 17-and-under count, as Ava Pell dominated the field with 44 votes after 12 rounds.
Abby Waasdorp was runner-up best-and-fairest, polling 34 votes.

Pell was among her side’s best in every round following, apart from round 15, to take out the top gong alongside the Player’s Player with a whopping 60 votes, with Jemma Miller runner-up on 39 votes.
It was a much tighter affair in the B-reserve vote count, with Grace Burnett leading the charge on 28 votes after 12 rounds, with Tori Walsh (20) and Charlotte Grealy (18) in pursuit.
All three players featured at the top of the tree as the rounds progressed, but it was Burnett (42) who ran away with it alongside the Player’s Player nod, with Walsh runner-up on 31 votes.
Stella Trezise (34) had a firm grip on the best-and-fairest honour in the B-grade count, with Molly Carver her closest competition on 21 votes after 12 rounds.
