Hosting the Cats at Kyabram Recreation Reserve, it didn't take long for Mooroopna to create some distance, with an early five-goal run sparking a 13-goal quarter from the visitors.
Meanwhile, the Bombers could only offer five goals in reply, with both sides of the ball feeling the pressure of the suffocating Cats.
The second quarter was much more even, with each side trading goals for the majority of the period, before Mooroopna darted in five unanswered goals to end the half up by 11.
The Bombers’ main issue was their inability to stop goal flurries once their opponent got rolling, in the third term alone, the Cats had two separate stretches of seven unanswered goals, the lead now 23 with a quarter to go.
Kyabram had to settle for just seven goals down the stretch, while Mooroopna also had their quietest quarter at the net, goaling just 12 times.
Ultimately, the Bombers weren’t able to get close to threatening the Cats dominant lead after half-time, with the final score being 32-60.
Kyabram’s goal attack Isla Carver was awarded best-on-court honours for her side.
The Bombers’ hunt for their second win of 2025 will continue into round seven, with Saturday’s match shaping up to be a tough one, as they will take on an unbeaten Shepparton.
