On a hot afternoon, Finley won the toss and elected to bat.
There were solid contributions from Justin Crowley, Russell Anderson (24 no) and Murray Urqhart (10).
After 39 overs, the Cats were all out for 81.
Finley made Cobram work for the small total, but they were able to chase it down with four wickets in hand.
Bailey Coombs was the standout with the ball taking 5/41 off his nine overs, while Archie Mason took 1/30 off nine.
The Finley Bakery and Patisserie players’ player award went to Bailey Coombs for his first A-grade five wicket haul.

After a very hot, sunny morning, C-grade won the toss on Saturday and elected to bowl at home against Nathalia.
Finley opened with Cameron Arnold and Callum Campbell starting fairly strong, taking a few quick wickets to have Nathalia panicking early.
Unfortunately smart batsmen Greg Vallender came to the crease and picked off any loose deliveries from the youngsters in Pat Billings and Jackson Tooke, who bowled very well, to make a quick 37 for Nathalia and get them looking to a better total.
Josh Flight and Luke Keating then came in to bowl.
Flight ripped through the tail order of Nathalia with figures of three wickets for three runs off three overs, to have them all out for 83 off 26 overs
After a nice lunch break in the cool of the air-conditioning, the Cats headed back out to bat with Ryan Donkin and Damo Wilson starting strong.
Wilson fell to a good ball taking his stumps, and in came Dale Rees who hung in for a little bit before being dismissed also.
This is where Finley started to take control.
Flight came to the crease and he and Donkin looked very comfortable.
They hot plenty of boundaries, including a big six off the bat from Flighty.
They were able to chase down Nathalia’s total in a convincing 13 overs.
Flight took home the Finley Bakery and Patisserie players’ player award.
This makes it a 4-0 start for the C-grade team, who will have a big challenge of a grand final rematch against Deniliquin this weekend.

Tocumwal had some very handy bowlers who limited the young Cats to 7/86.
Jason Hay, Angus Urquhart and Ryan Bauer all picked up one wicket, but the standout bowler for the Cats was James Winn taking 5/12 off four overs.
The Cats should be very happy with their performance, holding a 19 run lead against Tocumwal, who will resume at 8/67.

The Cats went in to bowl for the remaining 16 overs with Katunga chasing 50 runs for the win.
Whelan took 2/16 off of his four overs, although Nathan Brown was the standout with the ball taking 2/15 off five overs.
Katunga chased down the runs fairly easily in the end, with the Swans electing to finish the game and no need to go back this week.
