Earlier in the day, Deniliquin Bowling Club Blue went down in their semi-final against Moama, finishing behind on shots in a challenging encounter.
The results set up an all-Deniliquin preliminary final this Saturday at Lockington Bowls Club, with Deniliquin White and Deniliquin Blue to face off for a place in the grand final.
With local bragging rights on the line, a strong crowd is expected for the finals clash.

In Bendigo on Sunday, Andrew Holloway, Mathew Crothers, Jade Hipworth and Tyler Hillier all played in different stages of finals at their respective Novice Singles State Championships, an outstanding effort from all four.
Jade secured her spot in the quarters with a strong win in her first knockout game a fantastic achievement at this level.
A huge congratulations went to Tyler Hillier, who progressed through to the Bendigo Campaspe Goldfields State Novice Singles Semi-Final, to be played on March 8 which is an outstanding achievement.
Tyler also showed incredible composure, coming from behind to defeat last year’s winner 21–14 to book his place in the final eight.
It was a brilliant performance under pressure.
It wasn’t quite the same result for the Crothers camp on Sunday.
Mathew Crothers fought hard but went down in the first knockout round of the Novice Singles to last year’s runner-up — a tough draw and a courageous effort.
At Moama, Carly Crothers concluded her run in the Ladies State Singles.
Carly was defeated 25–15 by Australian Jackeroo Cassandra Millerick on the carpet, finishing her campaign in the final four.
