The annual Deni v Hay Challenge was hosted at the Deniliquin courts on Sunday.
Team Deni took the win with a strong final score of 145-79.
Both teams fielded six pairs, with Hay borrowing two Deni players to round out their lineup. Everyone played two doubles sets and two singles sets—great tennis played with a social yet competitive edge!
The morning wrapped up with the presentation of the perpetual trophy and a barbecue.
“A huge thank you to Tony Callaghan, from Hay, for his fantastic organisation both leading up to and during the day, and to Deni’s Jon Gatacre for his support and assistance,” Eliza said.
