Undera looked to be in a decent position after dismissing Mooroopna for 140, but the Lions were themselves bowled out for 105, suffering a home defeat.
Mooroopna’s batting innings was top-loaded, with only the first four reaching double digits, led by opener Matt Creaney (63).
Glenn Campbell and Russell Sheriff did most of the damage, Campbell taking 4-26 and Sheriff 3-19.
In the chase, Undera couldn’t post a score of significance, and although Travis Guppy (29) and Pardeep Kumar (27) showed some resistance, the Lions finished short of the target.
David Marsters executed a lethal spell for Mooroopna, taking 4-8.
Undera remains atop the table after just a third loss of the season, and will host Pine Lodge this Saturday.
