Finley recorded a convincing win against Katunga in the Murray Valley Cricket Association B-grade competition on Saturday.
The Cats lost the toss and were sent in to bat, with openers Cougar McGrath and Josh Bakes, the latter being dismissed early.
McGrath and Johno Catail then set the foundations for the innings before being dismissed for 32 and 40 respectively.
Noah Iddles (34) and Harrison King (24 not out) continued the good work, with the Cats ending their innings at 6/177.
In the field, Finley were off to a good start with a Ryan Bowers’ catch off McGrath’s bowling setting the scene.
McGrath finished with 4/10, well supported by Nathan Brown who took three wickets and only conceded four runs.
It was an impressive performance in the field by the Cats, who had Katunga all out for a paltry 36.
