The Flames travelled to Echuca South Recreation Reserve, with the host winning the toss and electing to bat.
It was a consistent run-making effort for the majority of Echuca South’s batters as Jayden Rosin (28), Clayton Watson (22), Asantha Singappuli (18), Rathika Rajakumara (17) and Ben Walker (29) all making starts.

However, none of them could go on and make a big dent as Fire Brigade managed to stem the flow of runs at every turn.
Almost every bowler for the Flames jagged a wicket, with Hunter Fawcett recording best figures of 2-18 as the Swans finished their 20-over stint at 6-136.

It was a rough start to the Flames’ innings, as Bohden Learmonth (6) and captain Jake Gascoyne (1) didn’t add a lot to the total.
Shannon Fleming (14) and Taylor Beard (15) were able to steady the ship before the trio of Thomas Starr (35 not out), Cooper Fawcett (39) and Miller Griffiths (20 not out) did the bulk of the scoring.

Fire Brigade was able to swallow the tail with four balls remaining in the innings with five wickets still in hand.
Singappuli (2-17) and Fletcher Good (2-36) were the only multi-wicket takers for the Swans in the innings.
