Batting first and without their most prolific runmaker Paul Newman, the Flames could manage only 139 off 38.3 overs with only young opener Miller Griffiths and star allrounder Kaine Herbert making worthwhile contributions.
Griffiths made 43 off 64 deliveries with five boundaries while Herbert opened the shoulders to crack 61 which included 11 fours and one six off 58 deliveries.

Adam Ward was the wrecker with the ball for Rochester with his 11 overs producing six wickets for a cost of only 27 runs.
Then The Flames bowlers went to work and led by the hero of the previous week Jack Donnell bowled the home side out for just 77 in 30.1 overs.

Donnell, who had engineered a big win over Tongala the previous week with a five wickets haul, stepped up again to take 4/10 off six overs.
New ball bowlers Rob Salter, Jackson Barnett and Tom Owen all took two wickets in economical spells for The Flames.
The Flames were 2/24 at stumps in their second innings with Miller Griffiths on 12 not out.
COOMA’S bowlers performed well to bowl out reigning premier Echuca for 205 of which 118 was contributed by opener Kobyn James.
Jones hit 21 fours and one six in his knock which he made off 159 deliveries.
Only two other batsmen, opener Matt Hinks (36) and Lachy Hogan (30) made double figures against the Cooma attack led by Ethan Palma-Ludeman and Ben Napier.
Palma-Ludeman’s 10 overs reaped 4/41 while paceman Napier chipped in with 3/38 off 10.5 overs.
But Cooma’s run chase started disastrously, dipping to 4/20 at stumps.
TONGALA finished day one at 1/2 chasing Echuca South’s 9/242 declared in the game at Tongala.
South’s batting stars Asantha Singappuli with 69 and Rathika Rajakumara with 60 were among the runs again while opener Jayden Rosin’s 47 included nine fours.
Rory Knight with 4/28 off 10 overs and Darin Ohlsen with 2/37 off 17 overs with seven maidens bowled well for Tongala.
DESPITE a top bowling effort from Rhys Bradley, Moama posted 254 against Nondies Cohuna in the clash at Cohuna.
Bradley took 6/46 off 16.1 overs, but with Anthony McMahon making 92 and Matt Saunders a half century, Moama still came up with a respectable total.
In reply Nondies had made a positive start in their run chase, reaching 0/20 at stumps.
BLU skipper Regis Chakabva produced a blazing and breathtaking innings of 172 against Leitchville Gunbower.
The Zimbabwean pounded 20 fours and two sixes off 139 deliveries as BLU piled up an impressive 6/330 off 61 overs before declaring.
In reply, LG reached 0/25 at stumps with still a lot of work to do to challenge the handsome BLU total.
