Opener Miller Griffiths (26), Rob Salter (28) and Brenton Sheppard (23) provided most of Brigade’s second innings score.
Chasing 192 to win in its second innings, Rochester’s mission fell well short, battling to 6-116 of which Matt Harrington (42) and Brandon Byrne (21) were the main contributors.
Jackson Barnett with 2-23 off eight overs and Tom Owen with 2-19 off six overs both bowled tightly to keep the Rochester batsmen under pressure.

Cooma bounced back from a first innings batting flop to post a respectable second-innings score of 176 against reigning premier Echuca.
But it was not enough to prevent the reigning premier securing maximum premiership points.
Resuming its first innings at 4-28 on Saturday, Cooma was out for just 51, with Matt Darvill making 20 of this total.

In its second innings, opener Rob Trewin produced a fighting knock of 66 off 72 deliveries with 10 fours and two sixes to help Cooma make 176.
This left Echuca with only 24 runs to get in its second innings to secure maximum premiership points and it did it for the loss of two wickets.
Nondies-Cohuna collapsed in its run chase against Moama’s 254, losing its last six first-innings wickets for just 30 runs.
Michael Hill with 4-27 off 17 overs triggered the collapse after Nondies’ openers, led by Archie Sussex with 59, had made a promising start.
Moama reached 1-111 in its second innings with openers Fraser Buchanan (33 not out) and Joel Murphy (46) sharing a stand of 69.
Tongala mustered just 89 runs in its first innings, having resumed at 1-2 against Echuca South.
Asantha Singappuli was very economical with 5-24 off 21 overs with five maidens and together with co-opening bowler Shaun Haffenden with 3-6 off 15 overs, including 10 maidens, stifled the Tongala scoring.
Keagan Miller’s 30 at number eight gave a badly needed boost to the Tongala score, which at one stage was a dire 5-23.
Following on, Tongala was 3-47 in its second innings with opener Steve Townsend scoring an unbeaten 22 to prevent any chance of South securing outright points.
Leitchville-Gunbower was 1-77 at one stage chasing BLU’s impressive score of 6-330, but lost 9-61 as Declan Pearse took 5-15 to be out for 138.
Following on, L-G reached 3-84 in its second innings, with Tyler Jones making a half-century to dash BLU’s hopes of gaining maximum points.
