It's always an exciting time when the final day of the Goulburn Valley League season rolls around.

And thousands of fans descended on Deakin Reserve in Shepparton to support their favourite team on Sunday, September 21.

Seven clubs in the league were represented across eight grand finals, with fans showing their colours in the stands on a drizzly day.

Out of those seven clubs, only four ended the day triumphant, with Mooroopna, Rochester and Euroa going home empty-handed.

Shepparton Bears were the most successful club on the day, taking home the under-18s football, A-grade and 17-and-under netball.

Echuca (15-and-under and B-grade) and Seymour (reserves and B-reserve) grabbed two premierships each, with Kyabram stealing the big one to round out the day.
