Look out for Rochester in the coming Goulburn Valley League season.
Runners-up to Kyabram last year the Tigers have snared some impressive recruits for the 2026 season, the latest GWV Rebels talent league pathway product Felix Fogaty, a 195cm key forward who represented Vic Country in 2022.
He has been playing with Ballarat Football League club Lake Wendouree for the past three seasons.

Former Australian fast bowler Jason Gillespie made appearances at two cricket clubs in the southern Riverina last week.
A fast bowler called “Dizzy”, Gillespie appeared as a guest at functions at Colleambally and Finley and proved a big hit.
Gillespie took 259 wickets in 71 Tests for Australia and 142 wickets in one-day Internationals between 1996 and 2006.
But Gillespie is probably best known for his batting heroics against Bangladesh in his final Test in 2006 when he made 201 not out as a night watchman.

One of the Aussie Rule greats of the Riverina was recently farewelled.
Colleambally’s Tony Howe played 306 games for the club and was in four premiership and four runner-up teams with the club in the Coreen league.
He was the league’s leading goal-kicker in 1977 and won league medals for the best-and-fairest player in 1979 and 1984.
He was named in his club’s Team of the Half Century in 2015 and is a life member of the club.
His contribution to his club and the game continued when he retired as a player, serving two stints as president and being a tireless volunteer worker for the club.

Kyabram trots trainer Mark Watson produced an impressive debutant at last week’s Shepparton meeting in pacer Like No Other.
A three-year-old filly by Bettors Delight, Like No Other was supported with plenty of confidence into a $1.40 favourite and after making the pace had a ding-dong duel in the concluding stages with the Lisa Pitt-trained Bill, prevailing by a short half-head.
