On a windy day, Jerilderie won the toss and elected to field.
Wickets were hard to come by in the early stages, but Evan Lawton snapped up the three top order batsmen in a best of the bowlers display.
The Cobram batsmen had their way with Jerilderie ticking the score over until the last five overs where they put the foot down, reaching 182 with Rocco Anastasio on 56 not out.
When it was Jerilderie’s turn to bat, the only joy was the bar being opened as wickets fell at a quick rate.
Travis Lawton watched them come and go as he remained on 34 not out at the end of the innings, with Jerilderie only making 71 in 26 overs.
The Dees will make the long trip to Nathalia this Saturday for a tough clash there.
